1. Who we are

Mythloom is an independent, AI-narrated multiplayer role-playing app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any game publisher, and it does not depict real people. Questions about this policy can be sent to the contact address below.

2. Data we collect

• Account information. Mythloom signs you in with an anonymous account by default — no email is required to play. You may optionally link an email address (for example, to keep purchases restorable). Accounts are handled through our authentication provider (Supabase) and used to sync your campaigns across devices and connect you with other players in a shared session. Your display name is chosen by you and shown to your party.
• Content you create during play. Character details, party messages, choices, and other text you enter during a game session are stored on our servers so that your ongoing, multiplayer, turn-based campaigns persist and are shared with the other players in that campaign.
• App activity. Basic in-app actions needed to run a session (for example, turn submissions and session membership) are processed and stored to keep a campaign in sync.

Mythloom does not collect your contacts, location, photos, or advertising identifier, and contains no advertising SDKs.

3. How your content is used and shared

To generate the AI Game Master's narration, the text you and your party submit during a session is transmitted to our backend and forwarded to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. The AI provider returns generated narration that is shown to your party. We use these services only to operate the game:

• Supabase — account authentication, database, and real-time multiplayer sync (our backend host; data is stored on servers in the United States).
• Anthropic — AI processing of session text to generate Game Master narration. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, content sent through this service is not used to train their AI models.
• Google Play Billing — processes subscription purchases. Payment details are handled by Google; we do not receive or store your card information.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

4. AI-generated content

Narration in Mythloom is generated by an AI model and may be unpredictable. The app is intended for a teen-and-up (PG-13) audience, and includes an in-app way to report or flag generated content you find objectionable (the session menu's "Report this scene" and the lobby's "Report player"). Reported content may be reviewed to improve safety. The Game Master's voice narration is synthesized on your device using your system's text-to-speech engine — no audio is recorded or leaves your device.

5. Data stored on your device

Some data — such as cached session content, app settings, and preferences — is stored locally on your device for performance and offline reading. Deleting the app removes this local copy; to remove data held on our servers, delete your account (see below).

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and campaign data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account inside the app, or by emailing the contact address below. Shared story turns that other players participated in are retained for their campaigns, with your identity removed. Full instructions: account deletion page.

7. Security

Data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

8. Children's privacy

Mythloom is not directed at children. It is intended for users aged 13 and older, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
