TeamTally — Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the TeamTally Android app published on Google Play by MiamiJambo. TeamTally was previously named “FlagStats Pro”, which is why the package ID and the address of this page both still read flagstats; the app, the developer, and this policy are the same throughout.

TeamTally (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a youth flag-football (and similar sports) stat-tracking app for coaches and parents. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. The app is offline-first: it works without an account, and cloud features are optional.

Information we handle

• Account information (only if you sign in): when you choose to sign in with Google to sync across devices, we receive your Google account email, name, and a user ID through Google Sign-In and our authentication provider (Supabase). You can use the app fully without signing in.
• Content you create: the teams, players (such as first names and jersey numbers), games, scores, and statistics you enter. If you sign in, this content is stored in our cloud database so it syncs to your other devices; otherwise it stays on your device.
• Subscription status (only if you subscribe): if you purchase TeamTally Pro, Google Play and our billing provider (RevenueCat) process the purchase. We receive your subscription status — not your payment card details.

We do not collect precise location, your contacts, or advertising identifiers. The app contains no third-party advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Attendance and RSVP links

If you share an RSVP link for a game or practice, anyone holding that link can see the event details and the roster’s player display names, and can mark a player as attending or not. The response is stored against the event so you can see it in the app. We do not ask the person responding for a name, an email address, or an account.

AI game recaps

If you use the optional AI game-recap feature, the relevant game summary — team names, the final score, and the top players’ names and stats — is sent to our server, which uses Anthropic’s Claude API to generate a short, friendly recap. This information is processed only to create your recap and is not used to train AI models.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. We use these service providers, each processing data only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase — sign-in and cloud database (only if you sign in).
• Google — Google Sign-In and Google Play billing.
• RevenueCat — subscription management (only if you subscribe).
• Anthropic — generating AI recaps (only if you use that feature).

Children’s information

TeamTally is intended for adults (coaches and parents) to track youth sports. Any information about children — such as a first name, jersey number, or game statistics — is entered at the discretion of the adult account holder. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child’s information has been entered and you would like it removed, contact us and we will delete it.

Keeping and deleting your data

You can delete teams, players, and games directly in the app. To delete your TeamTally account and all associated cloud data, follow the instructions on our account and data deletion page. Data you enter without signing in lives only on your device and is removed if you delete the app.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and sign-in is handled through Google. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Your choices

You can use the app without an account, and you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
